Volunteers needed for CTCI Ad-hoc Committee
Help develop better support for small tech centers
The Committee on Technical and Career Institutions (CTCI) is forming an ad hoc committee to consider revising the accreditation protocol for member career technical centers. The revision would align the requirements of the self-study and evaluation team visit with the centers’ capacity (small staff/limited budget) to undertake this process. The expected outcome of the ad hoc committee’s work will be a more efficient and effective accreditation process for the career technical centers.
The anticipated completion date is winter 2019 for implementation by centers with visits scheduled in 2021. Committee members will be asked to take part in 4-6 meetings, most by Skype or conference call. Meetings will be arranged to accommodate participant schedules.
